Local youth athletes will receive a total of $4500 scholarships next year thanks to a fund created by the Roseville Youth Sports Coalition (YSC). The YSC oversees athletic activities, facilities and competition for local youth leagues, and will review nominations at its quarterly meeting in April. Funds were drawn from registration fees to create six $500 scholarships and a $1000 scholarship.No monies from the General Fund were used.
