A Roseville woman taking a walk on Eureka Road early Tuesday morning was attacked and robbed by two unknown suspects.

At 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, an east Roseville resident, a woman in her 30s, was having trouble sleeping and went out for a walk. She was walking on the east sidewalk in the 1800 block of Eureka Road when two males attacked her from behind.  They knocked her down, hit her with a plastic soda bottle and ripped off her silver medallion necklace. They did not attempt to sexually assault her.  The victim was able to get up and run away from her attackers, and called police.  She was transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where she was treated for scratches and abrasions, and released.

The suspects were both described as white males in their late teens.  One was about 5’10” tall with a medium build, short brown hair and sideburns.  He was wearing a white tank top with large arm holes, dark shorts and a dark-colored rubber bracelet.   The other suspect sounded a little younger than the first.  He was about 5’8″ tall with a medium build and brown hair, and was wearing a gray or tan t-shirt and cargo-type shorts or pants.

Anyone who may have seen these suspects or has any other information about this crime is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916)783-7867.  Callers can be anonymous and could receive a cash reward if the information they provide leads to an arrest.
