A Roseville woman taking a walk on Eureka Road early Tuesday morning was attacked and robbed by two unknown suspects.ย

At 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, an east Roseville resident, a woman in her 30s, was having trouble sleeping and went out for a walk. She was walking on the east sidewalk in the 1800 block of Eureka Road when two males attacked her from behind.  They knocked her down, hit her with a plastic soda bottle and ripped off her silver medallion necklace. They did not attempt to sexually assault her.  The victim was able to get up and run away from her attackers, and called police.  She was transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where she was treated for scratches and abrasions, and released.
