Roseville, Calif. – Roseville residents and businesses reduced water use in October by 35.48 percent over this time two years ago.

Continued savings still necessary to meet ongoing drought conditions and statewide water reduction targets. The statewide mandate requires Roseville to reduce its water use by 28 percent between June of this year and February 2016.

While we are five percent more than the goal, we know that these next several months is where we will see reduced savings. This is because outdoor water demands –which can account for about 60 percent of household water use — usually wane as the cooler, shorter days become more and more and there is moisture in the air.
