Roseville teacher arrested on suspicion of sex with minor

Roseville, Calif.- At approximately 9 p.m. on April 6, Roseville Police detectives arrested Kelly Christine Spaich, 28, at her residence in Roseville on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and related charges. Spaich was booked into the Roseville Police Department Jail and released on a $150,000 bail bond.

Spaich is a teacher at Silverado Middle School in Roseville. The alleged victim, a 16-year-old male, is a former Silverado student. The crimes are alleged to have occurred over the past six months. The Roseville Police Department became aware of the allegations and began investigating approximately three weeks ago. The Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District has cooperated fully with the Roseville Police Department throughout the investigation.
