On Wednesday afternoon, May 13, Roseville Police detectives arrested a woman suspected of using a stun gun in a robbery attempt, and her male accomplice. The arrests were made after media coverage of the incident generated an anonymous tip to Roseville Crime Stoppers.

Jill Elizabeth Jones, 23, and Theodore James White, 23, both of Sacramento, were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and conspiracy. Both are currently in custody in the Placer County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Jones is suspected of discharging a stun gun during the attempted robbery of a woman on Saturday afternoon, May 9,  in the parking lot of the Creekside Town Center. The robber shot the victim with the stun gun and grabbed at her purse. The victim struggled with the suspect and was able to pry the stun gun away, while holding onto her purse. The female suspect ran and got into the passenger’s side of a black Ford Focus, which was driven away.  Theodore White is suspected of being the driver of the Ford Focus.

The anonymous tipster may receive a cash reward from Roseville Crime Stoppers. Roseville Crime Stoppers is a private foundation committed to public safety in Roseville.
