Roseville, Calif.- At 7:45 p.m. April 16, officers responded to a report of shots fired from a car toward another car in the area of Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Fairway Drive.
Officers located the suspect vehicle in Roseville Square and detained the three occupants without incident.
Officers found out that the suspects had stopped at a gas station near Pleasant Grove Blvd. and Fairway Dr., and one of them threw trash on the ground. A bystander picked up the trash and exchanged words with the litterer, who threatened him. The suspects drove away, and the victim decided to follow them and call police about the threat. As he was following, the suspect vehicle made a u-turn, and one of the occupants fired a handgun toward the victim’s vehicle.
Fortunately no one was struck or injured. Officers found a stolen gun concealed inside the suspect vehicle.
A 19-year-old male, a 20-year-old male and a 20-year old female, all from Sacramento, were arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm and other related charges.
