Sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, vandals used rocks and metal pry bars to pry electrical panels and telephone boxes off of outside walls and destroy the switches and wiring inside the boxes. Above the boxes, graffiti was painted onto the wall. Near-empty beer bottles were found in a nearby planter.

The vandals then destroyed two trucks belonging to a neighboring business in the same industrial complex. They used rocks to shatter the windshield, every window and mirror, as well as all of the headlights and turn signals. They then used metal objects and rocks to damage the bodies of the trucks. Sheriff’s crime scene technicians processed the area for fingerprints.

Anyone with information regarding this very destructive crime spree is urged to call Placer County Crime Stoppers toll-free at 800-923-8191. All information remains anonymous and is confidential. Or call the Placer County Sheriff’s Department at (530) 889-7800.
