Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on February 2, a 56-year-old Elverta man reported that he had been robbed by a couple he had befriended earlier in the evening at Thunder Valley Casino. The Elverta man agreed to drive the woman to Roseville, and was driving south on Fiddyment Road near Angus Road when she asked him to stop the car. After car was stopped, the male suspect drove up in another vehicle and robbed the Elverta man of his wallet, car keys and cell phone. The couple then drove away in their own vehicle, leaving the victim stranded. Several minutes later the victim was able to flag down a passing motorist and call Roseville Police.
