Zachary Nicholas Gonzalez, 22, has been arrested in connection to the Roseville stabbing death that claimed the life of 21- year-old Andrew Michael Petrenko of Carmichael.
After conducting interviews and following leads, detectives went to the suspect’s address in Sacramento.
Zachary Nicholas Gonzalez, 22, was contacted in the parking lot of the apartment complex where he lives.
He was cooperative and was taken into custody without incident. He was booked at the Placer County Jail where he’s being held without bail on a murder charge.
His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. In the Auburn jail courtroom.
