Roseville Police detectives have arrested Mark James McKinley Jr., age 27 of Roseville who is suspected of inappropriate sexual contact with a minor.
The suspect is a personal trainer, and several months ago developed a social and mentoring relationship with one of his clients, a girl under the age of 14. Their relationship included dinners and other social activities after workout sessions, accompanied by another young adult client.
In late September, the girl’s mother learned of inappropriate behavior that had occurred at the suspect’s home in Roseville, and she reported it to Roseville Police.
Roseville Police detectives investigated, and on October 29, 2015, they arrested Mark James McKinley Jr., age 27 of Roseville, on suspicion of committing a lewd or lascivious act involving a child under the age of 14, and other related charges. He is currently being held in the Placer County Jail on $150,000 bail.
