Roseville Police detectives are investigating the murder of 40-year-old Eric Dale McGhee of  Roseville. At about 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening, April 18, Roseville Police responded to check Mr. McGhee’s house in the 500 block of Farridge Drive, at the request of family members who were concerned because they had not heard from Mr. McGhee for a couple of days. Officers entered the residence and found Mr. McGhee deceased, with at least one gunshot wound.

Early Monday morning, Roseville detectives went to the Placer County Jail to arrest a friend of the victim, 46-year-old Brad Robert Miller, of Roseville, on suspicion of homicide. Miller (see booking photo above) had been in custody in the county jail since his arrest Saturday afternoon for DUI. He is tentatively scheduled for arraignment in court on Tuesday, April 20, at 1 p.m.

The Placer County Coroner conducted an autopsy this morning to determine further information about the cause of death. Investigation into the case is continuing.
