Roseville Man killed on Cirby after walking in front of van

At about 10:04 p.m. Wednesday evening, May 28, the Roseville Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Cirby Way near San Simeon Drive.

David Self, 31, of Sacramento was driving his 1997 Mercury van east on Cirby Way when the pedestrian, Gary Paul Cravens, 52, of Roseville, walked in front of the van and was struck.  Mr. Cravens was transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he later died. 

The Roseville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
