Roseville, Calif – On August 17, the Roseville Police Department was notified of concerns about a local man possibly molesting a young family friend.

Detectives conducted an investigation, which revealed the suspect allegedly “groomed” the victim and subjected her to inappropriate touching and other lewd behavior in his home over an extended period of time.

On the evening of August 18, detectives arrested Christopher Blaine Odom, age 43 of Roseville, on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts involving a child under the age of 14.   Odom was booked into the Placer County Jail, where he is being held on $150,000 bail.

The suspect’s job doesn’t involve working with children, and to our knowledge he has not worked as a coach or in other positions of trust with children.  However, detectives are concerned that there could be additional underage victims that the suspect is acquainted with.
