On the evening of August 18, detectives arrested Christopher Blaine Odom, age 43 of Roseville, on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts involving a child under the age of 14.   Odom was booked into the Placer County Jail, where he is being held on $150,000 bail.

The suspect’s job doesn’t involve working with children, and to our knowledge he has not worked as a coach or in other positions of trust with children.  However, detectives are concerned that there could be additional underage victims that the suspect is acquainted with.

Anyone who is concerned their child might have been victimized by this suspect is asked to leave a message for Detective Coghlan at (916)774-5072, or email him at [email protected] .
