On Wednesday afternoon, November 28, the Roseville Fire Department responded to a house fire located at 832 Shearer Street. Fire crews did a great job with containment considering the thick black smoke that filled the home. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes without injury.
In total, three engines plus 1 stand by engine, one ladder truck, one battalion chief, the fire chief, an investigator, a fire information officer, Red Cross, and the Fire Chaplin responded to the scene.
The occupant lit liquid oil to freshen up the home and then went out side. The fire details are still being investigated.
With the Christmas holiday on it’s way remember to never leave a flame unattended.
