Roseville, Calif.- Early Wednesday,ย  the Roseville Police Department arrested a pair suspected of several residential burglaries in Roseville and the Sacramento region.ย  A large amount of stolen property was recovered.

At 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Roseville officers responded to a residential burglary in the 1500 block of Black Bear Street.  A witness in the area remembered seeing a black BMW sedan parked in front of the house earlier in the afternoon, with a man and woman loading property into the car. Officers began following up on the information, and also broadcast the information to surrounding law enforcement agencies.

Just after midnight Wednesday morning, Placer County Sheriff’s Office deputies located the suspect car in their jurisdiction, detained the occupants and notified RPD.  Some of the items stolen from the house on Black Bear Street were found in the car along with other stolen property.  The suspects are now being investigated in connection with several other residential burglaries committed over the past year in Roseville and the surrounding area.

Breanne Lee Rasmussen, 25, and Stephan Makarov, 26, both of Sacramento were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, and possession of heroin.ย 

Both are in custody in the Placer County Jail.
