Roseville, Calif. On Wednesday, June 17 at 6 p.m., the Roseville firefighters will hold a rally at Roseville City Hall Square to protest the Roseville City Council and their most recent rejection of the Roseville firefighter’s labor contract.

Since 2008, the Roseville firefighters have made sacrifices for the betterment of the City of Roseville.  These include major cuts to salary, medical benefits and retirement that have saved taxpayers millions of dollars.

While the Roseville firefighters have taken significant cuts, the management of the City of Roseville has given themselves pay increases to keep up with the cost of living and the rising cost of healthcare. The Roseville firefighters are simply asking for the same consideration.

The rally will occur before Wednesday’s City Council Meeting where firefighters will ask for reasonable, affordable and necessary changes that protect the Roseville firefighters, their families, taxpayers and citizens of the City of Roseville.

Members of the Roseville firefighters will be in attendance along with firefighters’ family members, friends, neighbors, community leaders and concerned citizens.
