Roseville Fire claims Sal’s Garage

The Roseville Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at 1:18 this morning.  The involved business was Sal’s Garage, an auto repair facility located at the corner of Church and Elm Streets in Roseville.

When firefighters arrived they found the building significantly involved in fire.  A second alarm was requested to assist with fire suppression and exposure protection.  An adjacent house and commercial building were both saved.  It took fire crews approximately 30 minutes to control the fire.  Five engines, two ladder trucks and two battalion chiefs were assigned to the incident.  A total of 25 fire personnel were on scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
