Shooting on Duranta Street

Roseville, Calif.- A Roseville couple was arrested last night in connection with a November 24 shooting in the 100 block of Duranta Street.

Just before 10 p.m. on November 24, a 33-year-old male resident of the 100 block of Duranta heard a loud pounding on his front door. He opened the door, and someone fired a shotgun in his direction.  Fortunately, no one was hit by the rounds.

Roseville Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit investigated, and identified two suspects, neighbors who were upset about an earlier argument with another person who lives at the victim’s house.  Last night, CSU offices contacted the suspects at their Roseville home and arrested them without incident.

Stephen Anthony Komara, 25, of Roseville is suspected of shooting at the victim.  His wife, Lindsy Ann Komara, 27, of Roseville is suspected of driving him to the victim’s residence where the shots were fired.  They were booked on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a firearm, shooting at an inhabited dwelling, and conspiracy. They are being held without bail in the Placer County Jail.
