A 63-year old Roseville man was robbed of his vehicle Saturday morning in the 100 block of Atkinson Street.ย  The Sacramento Police Department found the vehicle the next day, burned. The robber has not been located.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27, the victim, a 63-year old Roseville man started to get into his 2001 Jaguar sedan, which was parked in the lot of Auction Town, 100 Atkinson St., when an assailant pushed the victim away from his car, grabbed him by the throat, and demanded his car keys. The victim backed away, and the assailant drove away in the victim’s vehicle.

The robber was described as a male in his late teens or 20s with a medium complexion, possibly of Hispanic or mixed Asian and white descent.   He was approximately 5’8″ tall and 170 pounds, with dark hair and a mustache. He wore a black beanie-style cap, a green hooded sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off, and baggy blue jeans. No weapon was seen.
