Roseville, Calif.- At about 10 a.m. November 9, officers responded to a report of two men acting suspiciously near Pleasant Grove Boulevard and Roseville Parkway.
Witnesses reported them going door to door, trying doors and acting like they were “casing” houses. An officer stopped the suspect vehicle, a black BMW, in the nearby Safeway parking lot, and detained one of the occupants.
The other suspect ran away into a residential neighborhood. Officers surrounded the area and, having received information that the other suspect was armed, notified two area schools to go on lockdown. After about an hour of searching with help from the Rocklin Police Department, a Roseville Police K9 unit found the second suspect near Castle Hill Court. He was detained without further incident.
