Sierra College to honor Veterans this Thursday, November 7th
Rocklin, Calif. – Local veterans of all ages, active Placer County military members, and military families will be on hand Thursday, November 7th at Sierra College’s Rocklin campus as part of a “Legacy of Loyalty and Service” celebration hosted by President William (Willy) Duncan and attended by local VIPs.
Remarks will be provided by state and federal officials, Sierra College leaders, and a Sierra College student reflecting on their military experience.
The day will also include a Public Safety Career Fair to highlight job opportunities in our community and region (open to all students).Booths sponsored by 30 public safety agencies and community resources agencies will be on campus and students will be invited to experience an obstacle course sponsored by the Sacramento Police Department.
