During the early morning hours of May 29th at least 17 vehicles were vandalized along Rocklin Road from Sierra College Blvd to I-80 , most of them in an apartment parking lot.


Rocklin Police Officers responded to a report of slashed tires on a truck just after midnight in the Denny’s restaurant parking lot at 4460 Rocklin Rd. At 1:30 AM a resident from the Rocklin Manor Apartments at 5240 Rocklin Rd. called regarding a motorcycle that was knocked over and spray painted. Throughout the early and midmorning hours officers and owners found over a dozen more vehicles that were vandalized with slashed tires and spray paint.


One witness saw two subjects wearing dark clothing with one wearing a baseball cap in the area during the night.


The Rocklin Police Department asks that anyone who may have seen suspicious activity along Rocklin Road during the early morning hours to call the Rocklin Police Department Investigations Unit at (916)625-5443.


Each vandalism occurrence, if costing over $400.00 to repair, is a felony.
