Rocklin resident arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor

On April 8, 2009, Rocklin Detectives arrested Pedro Pallares, 51 of Rocklin, for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age. Pallares was arrested at the Rocklin Police Department at the conclusion of a two week investigation. During the course of the investigation, a search warrant was served at the residence of Pallares.

The Rocklin Police Department began its investigation into Pallares on March 24, 2009 after receiving a referral from Sacramento County CPS indicating Pallares was possibly performing lewd acts on a minor child under the age of 10. The victim, a six year-old female, is a relative of Pallares. At this time it is not believed there are any additional victims in this case.

Pallares is currently out of custody after posting bond on $100,000 bail. Pallares was booked on the following charges: lewd acts w/child under 14, oral copulation with child under 14, penetration by foreign object w/victim under 14; sexual acts with child under 10.
