Rocklin, Calif.- The STAR Eco Station, a non-profit organization located on Granite Drive is Rocklin recently announced they will be ceasing operations. The financial burden of operating is forcing the closure. The closure is no immediate and regular business hours will be kept until February 28th, 2014.

STAR Eco Station was founded in Culver City in 1997. The Rocklin location was opened in 2006.

STAR Eco Station is an environmental science museum, an exotic wildlife rescue center, and a haven for endangered and illegally-trafficked exotic animals confiscated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife.

An Adoption Fair and Liquidation Sale was held on February 8th, 2014.
