Rocklin Man Victim of Elder Abuse and ID Theft

Rocklin, Calif.- Rocklin Police reported that a 74 year old victim reported an unknown suspect used his bank account information to make multiple purchases online without authorization in the amount of $760.00.

During the ongoing investigation information was developed identifying a possible suspect who lived in the 5600 block of Mendocino Blvd in Sacramento. 

On December 10, a search warrant was served at a residence on Mendocino Blvd. and stolen property was recovered.

It was discovered the victim had known the suspect.

The suspect, Laura Kirkwood, 23 years old of Sacramento, was arrested and booked at the Placer County Jail.
