The joint Rocklin/Roseville Police Departments SWAT team recently served a search warrant at a house in the 1800 block of Sorrell Circle in Rocklin. The warrant was in response to a report of a sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl by one of the residents at the house that had occurred over a previous weekend. The SWAT team was used because of a report that a gun that was seen by victim at the time.
The minor girl reported that she had been assaulted at the Sorrell Circle address and a Placer County judge signed a search warrant.

The neighbors immediately next door to the residence were asked to leave their residence as a precaution. Other neighbors were asked to stay indoors until after the suspect was located within the house and arrested.
Spencer Beebe, 20 years, of Rocklin, was arrested for rape and transported to the Placer County Jail.
Rocklin Police Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators will be processing the house for evidence.
