On December 31, 2006, at just before midnight, an argument and then a fight broke out in the rear parking lot area of the Ridgeview Apartments in Rocklin.  The argument involved several individuals who had just arrived at the complex via limousine and several other individuals, one of whom lived at the complex.  The argument was over the noise level created by the group who had just arrived.

A physical altercation ensued and one of the individuals who had arrived via limo was struck several times on the back of the head with a  hammer.  The 20 year old victim from Citrus Heights sustained lacerations and was transported via ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.  He received sutures and was released.

The ensuing investigation resulted in the arrest of one individual.  Anthony Clair Pardee, a 32 year old Rocklin resident, was arrested for attempted murder and was booked at the Placer County Jail and is being held without bail.
