Rocklin, Calif.- At 6:00 on November 23, 2011, a resident called 911 reporting that she was awakened by noises from a person rummaging in her house in the 5200 block of Water Lily Lane.ย

When she yelled downstairs that she was calling the police she heard someone flee. Rocklin Police officers arrived and conducted a search of the house and surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect. The homeowner confirmed, however, that several items were missing and drawers and cabinets had been rifled through. The suspect may have entered the backyard from the street through a side gate. Access to the house was from a rear window.

The Rocklin Police Department would like to remind you to lock and secure all accessible doors and windows of your residence and report anyone suspicious. Call 911 if you ever think an unauthorized person is in your house. Officers will respond and conduct a thorough check. REMEMBER: We are happy to respond and check, even if it turns out to be nothing.
