Drexel University’s plans for the Sacramento area have drawn much attention from community and business leaders as the university recruits students for its first class at the Sacramento Center for Graduate Studies.

Among the students attending is Richelle McGhee of Rocklin, a graduate of Rocklin High School. She recently joined other students and Drexel alumni for a sendoff event in Sacramento featuring Mario the Magnificent, the university’s dragon mascot. McGhee will be attending graduate school in Psychology at Drexel this fall.
