Rocklin Police took two men into custody on burglary charges after a resident contacted police after observing someone exiting their garage.
On June 20th, 2013 at 2:33PM a resident was inside their home on Wildflower Lane in Rocklin when they heard noise coming from inside their open garage. The resident walked out the front door and observed a subject exiting the garage. He observed a second male standing on the sidewalk in front of his residence. The subjects left in a mini van and the resident followed them in his own vehicle while his wife contacted the police.
Rocklin police arrived in the area and conducted a traffic stop on the mini van.
Taken into custody for Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary were 24 year old Jesse Nieto of Sacramento and 46 year old Kenneth Modica, of Rancho Cordova.
Rocklin Police determined that both subjects had been in the area placing flyers from a solar company on the front doors of homes in the area.
Both suspects were booked into the Placer County Jail.
