Rocklin, Calif.- On August 15, 2012, at approximately 8:40 PM, Rocklin Police responded to the El Mariachi Restaurant at 1240 Sunset Blvd Ste# 700 on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

It was reported that a white male believed to be in his 20?s entered the business with a white handkerchief over his face. The suspect showed the employee behind the counter a black handgun that was in his waistband and demanded money.

The suspect took cash and fled on foot in a northwestern direction across the shopping center’s parking lot and towards the back of the Strikes Family Entertainment Center which is located on Lonetree Blvd.

A thorough search was conducted by Rocklin Officers and Officers from allied agencies but the suspect was not located. He is described as a white male in his 20’s, approximately 5′ 07 with black hair and a medium build. The suspect was last seen wearing the white handkerchief, a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He was armed with a black handgun, possibly a 9mm.ย
