Being designated as a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor means an individual has received extensive training in teaching golf to children ages 12-and-under. Each instructor provides a high-quality and fun experience that features game-based learning methods and a willingness to also educate and engage parents.

“Parents of young golfers can expect that a Certified Instructor will bring great enthusiasm to instruction,” said Dan Van Horn, President/CEO of U.S. Kids Golf. “They understand that kids learn best while having fun.”

The Certified Instructor program was launched in March 2012 with seminars in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. There were 170 PGA and LPGA members who participated in the seminars.
