Huetter Recognized as U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor

Roseville, Calif.- U.S. Kids Golf recently announced that Mike Huetter of Sacramento has earned the title of Kids Golf Certified Instructor.

Huetter has been a junior golf instructor for 25 years in the Sacramento region, where he has also been a head golf professional at several locations. For the past two years, Huetter has been the Director of Fun and Instruction at both Morgan Creek Golf Club in Roseville and Sunset Whitney Golf Club in Rocklin.

“Teaching golf is fun, rewarding and very challenging,” Huetter said, “My favorite thing to do in my job is teach a junior golfer who really wants to improve. My philosophy is to make the instruction fun and the improvement will soon follow.”

Being designated as a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Instructor means an individual has received extensive training in teaching golf to children ages 12-and-under. Each instructor provides a high-quality and fun experience that features game-based learning methods and a willingness to also educate and engage parents.

“Parents of young golfers can expect that a Certified Instructor will bring great enthusiasm to instruction,” said Dan Van Horn, President/CEO of U.S. Kids Golf. “They understand that kids learn best while having fun.”

The Certified Instructor program was launched in March 2012 with seminars in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. There were 170 PGA and LPGA members who participated in the seminars.
