Available for Public Review, Comment

The City of Rocklin Planning Division announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Rocklin 60 project. This report is open for public review and comment.

The Rocklin 60 (proposed) project consists of a residential subdivision of approximately 56.9 acres.  The site is located south of Interstate 80 and east of Sierra College Boulevard.

The site is proposed to be subdivided into 179 detached single-family residential lots and three large lots for a storm water detention basin and for open space along the Secret Ravine Creek riparian corridor. The single-family residential lots are proposed to range from a minimum size of 6,000 square feet to a maximum of 36,300 square feet, with an average lot size of 6,500 square feet. The three large lots would total approximately 10.8 acres.

Joint Public Hearing
The Rocklin City Council and Planning Commission will conduct a joint public hearing to receive comments on the Draft EIR on Thursday June 18, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the City of Rocklin City Council Chambers, 3970 Rocklin Road, in Rocklin.
