Folsom, Calif. – ย– The Regus Group, the world’s largest provider of fully furnished and equipped offices with 950 locations in 70 countries, announced today the opening of its first center in Folsom, California, in the Iron Point Business Park. The 28,000 square foot business center is located in Class ‘A’ office space and will feature 129 offices, 239 workstations, three conference rooms and underground parking.

With its strategic location, just off of U.S. Highway 50, the center is only 20 minutes from Sacramento and about halfway between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, offering Regus clients the added benefit of being in close proximity to major economic, government, recreation and entertainment centers.  The Folsom business center, located at 1024 Iron Point Road, will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting on June 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mayor Andy Morin and other local dignitaries will be in attendance to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

‘We already have a large presence in Sacramento and San Francisco, so we’re delighted to open our first center in Folsom.  There are more than 4,600 licensed businesses in the city, with companies representing numerous industries and ranging in size from entrepreneurs and start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations such as Intel Corporation,’ said Sande Golgart, Regional Vice President, Regus. ‘Our expansion into the Folsom market is being driven by increased demand from organizations of all sizes and from all industries who are seeking non-traditional, affordable alternatives to meet their growing workplace solution needs.’

Every day Regus provides more than 100,000 clients worldwide with flexible and cost-effective workplace options to meet their specific needs. Whether using a fully furnished office, a virtual office that provides clients with a local business address, meeting rooms or videoconferencing facilities, businesses working with Regus are able to establish an immediate presence at prime business center locations such as the new Folsom center.

“We outsource many of the services we use so we can remain lean and focus on our core business, and Regus’ scalable office solution fits perfectly with that strategy,” said Lori Brown, President of Clarity Consulting Group, a three-year client at Regus’ Roseville, California business center.  “With Regus, we get to work in a professional environment in the heart of the city’s business district, not off the beaten path.  And we can always count on Regus’ well-trained and resourceful staff to assist our clients professionally and help our company run smoothly.”

All Regus clients have high-speed Internet access and digital telephone service managed by a highly trained IT support team.  Regus also offers clients a wide range of on-site business services, including administrative support.  Clients also have the option to use the center’s meeting rooms, videoconferencing studios and business lounge.

Golgart added, ‘Folsom is increasingly becoming known as a great place to do business and for its quality of life as evidenced by its recent ranking as the 34th Best Place to Live by Money Magazine.  The city has a uniqueness to it that allows our clients to have everything they want right here, from a great place to work, to an abundance of available recreation for all ages, to an ideally scenic location right along the American River. ‘
