Roseville, Calif. – Placer SPCA is proud to announce that for the ninth year in a row, we have received four out of four stars from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator, for our sound fiscal management practices and commitment to accountability and transparency.

Placer SPCA ranks in the top 1% of charities that has received 4-stars for nine consecutive years, indicating that our organization outperforms most other charities in the country.ย

Founded in 1973, the Placer SPCA has continued to play an active role in serving the animals and the people of our community. We are dedicated to facilitating the humane treatment of animals in Placer County as well as a safer, healthier community overall. The Placer SPCA is funded solely by donations, grants, bequests and fees for service.
