Roseville, Calif. –ย The Placer SPCA recently announced the election of its 2016 Officers for the Board of Directors.
Karen Hauber-Grahl, MA, CCC, Speech-Language-Learning Specialist, will serve as Board President in 2016. Hauber-Grahl has served as a board member for the Placer SPCA since 2012. Her passion for the Placer SPCA mission combined with more than 20 years of volunteering makes Hauber-Grahl invaluable to the organization.
Other officers include President Elect Denise Fiddyment; Past President Al Johnson, Retired City of Roseville Manager and Owner & Consultant at Al Johnson Consulting, LLC; Treasurer Sheila Cardno, Wealth Advisor with Spectrum Wealth Management; Secretary John Mason, Attorney at Law with Gurnee Mason & Forestiere; and Appointee Director at Large Paul Klein, Regional Vice President of Kimley-Horn & Associates.
Each member of the Placer SPCA board has the opportunity to serve two three-year terms.
“The Placer SPCA has a 15-member board comprised of some of the most well-respected and professional individuals throughout Placer County,” said Placer SPCA CEO, Leilani Fratis. “The Board of Directors is responsible for guiding the mission and vision of the organization and other fiduciary responsibilities. They serve a very important role to the organization.”
Founded in 1973, the Placer SPCA is Placer County’s source for local companion animal welfare expertise. The organization operates the Companion Animal Care Center located at 150 Corporation Yard Road in Roseville, the Pet Adoption & Resource Center located at 1482 Grass Valley Highway in Auburn, and a satellite Cat Adoption Center in Pet Food Express at Fountains in Roseville. Additionally, the Placer SPCA operates a Thrift Store located at 931 Washington Boulevard in Roseville with proceeds benefiting their programs and services.
