Roseville, CA – The Placer SPCA announced the election of its 2014 Officers and the installation of a new board member.
Al Johnson, retired City Manager with the City of Roseville and Consultant and Owner of Al Johnson Consulting, will serve as Board President in 2014.ย ย
Johnson has served as a board member for Placer SPCA since 2012. His passion for the Placer SPCA mission combined with his deep-ties in the Roseville community make him invaluable to the organization.
Other officers include President Elect Mike Shellito of Shellito Training and Consulting; Past President John Mason, Attorney at Law; Treasurer Sheila Cardno, wealth advisor of Spectrum Financial; Secretary Mark Davis, president of Sierra View Construction; and Appointee Director at Large Jim Gray, former Mayor for the City of Roseville.
New appointee to the Placer SPCA Board of Directors is life-long resident of Roseville, Denise Fiddyment.
Each member of the Placer SPCA board has the opportunity to serve two three-year terms.
“The Placer SPCA has a 15-member board comprised of some of the most well-respected and professional individuals throughout Placer County,” said Placer SPCA CEO, Leilani Fratis.ย The Board of Directors is responsible for guiding the mission and vision of the organization and other fiduciary responsibilities. “They serve a very important role to the organization,” said Fratis.
