Placer County, CA, –  Louise Czopek recently joined PEACE for Families staff as Community Affairs Coordinator. PEACE for Families is a private non-profit agency providing comprehensive services to domestic violence and sexual assault victims in Placer County.

Ms. Czopek brings several years of non-profit event and fundraising experience to the organization and coordinates PEACE for Families’ special events, fundraising, and community awareness efforts. Her role in the organization is to increase public awareness of and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Placer County.

PEACE for Families is dedicated to ending the legacy of abuse by providing survivors of domestic and sexual violence with services and resources and fostering communities where abuse is not tolerated. PEACE provides a 24-hour crisis line (800-575-5352), emergency domestic violence shelter, and service offices in Roseville and Auburn where victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families/significant others may receive therapy, legal advocacy, assistance and resources at no charge.
