Pair Jailed for Attempted Granite Bay Break-In

Granite Bay, Calif.- The residents of a home in the Twin Rocks area of Granite Bay were awakened late Friday night by the sound of two men trying to break into their home.

The residents called the Placer County Sheriff Office’s 911 dispatch center as the men fled in a vehicle. Deputies responded quickly to the area and stopped a vehicle occupied by David Gibson, 21, and Bud Gibson, 23, of North Highlands.

Evidence found in the car linked the two men to the attempted break-in.

Both were arrested on charges of attempted burglary and conspiracy, and they are being held at the Placer County.
