Roseville, Calif.- Roseville Police Department officers took a suspect into custody approximately five hours after a gas station’s convenience store was robbed.

At about 7:40 a.m. Sunday, April 13, a suspect approached the clerk at the convenience store of the Shell gas station, 601 Sunrise Ave., displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The clerk gave him the cash, and the suspect ran out of the store. A witness saw the suspect drive away in a blue pickup truck. The clerk did not report being injured.

Roseville Police officers soon identified a suspect, and contacted him via telephone.  The suspect agreed to meet officers at the Roseville Police Department, where he was taken into custody at about 12:30 p.m.

Todd Michael Bray, 34, of Newcastle is being held in the Placer County Jail on suspicion of robbery and burglary. His bail is set at $60,000.
