Tuesday afternoon, January 6, Roseville Police investigators located the body of a missing Roseville resident Albert T. Cariaga, 39 years old. The investigators were conducting a foot search of Secret Ravine and Miner’s Ravine for Mr. Cariaga when they discovered his body in a wooded area. There were no signs of foul play.
Mr. Cariaga went missing on the afternoon of December 31. He had gone to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment of depression-related issues, and left the emergency room area on foot. An earlier helicopter search of the Secret Ravine/Miner’s Ravine open space area, which abuts the hospital grounds, was unsuccessful in locating Mr. Cariaga.
The Placer County Coroner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
