On October 08, 2009, 53-year-old Sacramento resident James Charles Jordan was arrested by Sacramento County Sheriffs Department Child Abuse Bureau detectives on a warrant for six counts of lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14 years. Jordan was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and is being held in lieu of $300,000 bail.

Jordan is a Minister of Music for a local Sacramento church; he is active in theatre productions in the Sacramento area, and also gives private piano and organ lessons. Because of Jordan’s close interaction with children, detectives believe there is a high probability that he has victimized other children.

Anyone who believes James Charles Jordan may have had inappropriate contact with their child is urged to call Sheriffs Child Abuse detectives at (916) 874-8002.
