At a little after 9 pm on Saturday night there was a home invasion robbery on Swetzer Road in Loomis. No one was injured and the target of the robbery was the resident”s medical marijuana.

The occupants of the Swetzer road home grow marijuana for medical use under California’s Proposition 215. Shortly after 9 pm, 6 male individuals entered the unlocked home posing as federal agents and ordered the occupants to lie on the floor. At least one of the individuals was armed with a handgun.

The intruders were wearing bandanas as masks over their faces, their age, race and physical descriptions are unknown. The assailants bound the occupants of the house with duct tape to prevent them from resisting.

The intruders gathered some processed marijuana that was in the house and also took several marijuana plants. It is believed that between 10 to 20 pounds of marijuana was taken but the exact amount is unclear.

The robbers left the house in an unknown type vehicle. There are no leads on the identity of the suspects or why they chose the victims.
