On Tuesday, October 31st , 2007, at about 6:40 AM, Rocklin Police Officers responded to Park Drive and Broadwalk Way in response to a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision.
A witness told officers that a vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection while the pedestrian was legally within a crosswalk. The 27-year old pedestrian, a Rocklin resident, suffered multiple broken bones and a concussion. He was transported via ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
The 58-year old driver, also a Rocklin resident, was eastbound on Park Drive when he collided with the pedestrian. He was questioned at the scene.
One lane of eastbound Park Drive was closed for a short period of time.
