Roseville, Calif.- At 12:43 a.m. October 11, officers responded to check on a man who had fallen asleep in his car in a fast-food drive-through on Taylor Road.

They talked to the man, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, and noticed an illegal knife in his vehicle. Officers searched his car and found methamphetamine, other drugs, a license plate from a pickup stolen from Folsom, several stolen credit and id cards, and other items of suspected stolen property. Some of the items had been stolen earlier in the evening from unlocked cars on Five Star Boulevard and Stanford Ranch Road.
