Her son began abusing alcohol, marijuana and over-the-counter cold medicine in his adolescent years. Attempts are rehab failed. In a desperate moment and high on drugs, he took off on a crime spree that would ultimately seal his fate. He was three weeks past his 18th birthday when he was arrested and is currently serving a 13-year sentence at Folsom Prison where he wrote the riveting forward to his mother’s book.
