22-year-old Kenneth Lewis Massey Jr. jailed on no bail warrant

Loomis, Calif.- The Placer County Sheriff”s Department has arrested a suspect in connection with the 2009 murder of Rudy Ramos in Loomis.

Placer County Detectives identified 22 year old Kenneth Lewis Massey Jr. as a suspect in the bludgeoning death of Rudy Ramos who was found deceased in his Loomis home on September 14th of this year.

Placer Detectives enlisted the help of the Sacramento Police Department to serve an arrest warrant on Massey near his South Sacramento home early this morning. Massey is being held at the Sacramento County Jail on the no bail Placer County Warrant.

Massey was an associate of the Ramos family and was known to the victim. Since this is an ongoing investigation the Placer County Sheriff’s Department is not discussing the motive for Massey’s actions or any other particulars of the case.
