On October 17th, Led Zeppelin brings a little rock n’ roll history into select Roseville area theaters for a limited time with the release of “Celebration Day”.

Celebration Day captures Led Zeppelin’s historic 2007 reunion concert at the O2 Arena in London in which an estimated 20 million people vied for approximately 20,000 tickets.

It was Led Zeppelin’s first and only full concert since their 1980 Tour Over Europe. Led Zeppelin’s drummer John Bonham died while the band was preparing to kick off their 1980-81 American tour. Led Zeppelin disbanded upon his death.

Remaining members have briefly performed together a few times over the years under the Zeppelin moniker for charity events, often with little rehearsal and lackluster results. It hasn’t deterred their massive and devoted fan base from clamoring for more.

In addition to movie theaters, Celebration Day will be released in multiple music and video formats for the 2012 holiday shopping season.
