Roseville Police detectives hope that someone will help identify a male who robbed a woman at knifepoint while she was using an ATM.

At 10:58 p.m. Friday, July 13, a woman was using an ATM outside a bank in the 1100 block of Galleria Boulevard, when a male came up behind her, threatened her with a knife and ordered her to take money out of the ATM.  In fear, the woman withdrew money and gave it to the robber.  He then ran away across the parking lot toward the back of the complex (toward Creekside Ridge Road).

Video surveillance shows the robbery, but didn’t capture a close-up image of the robber.ย ย  The victim described him as a medium-height or tall white male adult with blond hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.ย  He spoke English without an accent.ย  The surveillance video shows the robber also wearing a baseball cap and knee-length shorts.ย  He was armed with a long, thin knife similar to a kitchen filet knife.
