Roseville, Calif.- Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center has been named one of “America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics,” and one of “America’s 100 best Hospitals for Patient Experience,” according to Women’s Choice Award, part of a national organization that represents the opinions of female consumers.

The recognition, announced earlier this month, is the result of surveys and research that focus on female patient satisfaction and quality outcomes, according to WomenCertified, which presents the awards. The awards are largely based on exceptional scores in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) database. The scoring process, according to WomenCertified, is unique in that it is the only national list that focuses on female patient satisfaction.

“Kaiser Permanente is delighted to receive such a significant honor from the voice of women who recognize the loving care and high quality provided at the Roseville Medical Center,” said Jeanne Conry, MD, the hospital’s assistant physician in chief who oversees the Women and Children’s Center. “Our physicians, midwives, nurses and staff members truly believe in their mission to provide the best experience to our members and patients.”

The Women’s Choice Award gives women a collective voice to help each other identify brands, products and services that deserve their loyalty and referrals, according to WomenCertified. It is known as a “trusted referral source for women who are searching for the most recommended hospitals, businesses, brands and services.”
